Question Blog vs Website! What's the difference?

I was interested in the idea that I might be able to host and/or update my website myself and therefore make changes or additions whenever I wanted to. I have a great person who makes changes for me but it takes him so long to get to it. I was just wondering if changing it over is very...

How Do You Get Work From Clients???

To me, this is the charm of going virtual. I don't have to give up my privacy and hopefully can be more productive by cutting down on meetings I must attend, etc. I can definitely see the advantage of connecting through blogs, facebook and LinkedIn type applications, etc. and feel that will...

    The right words

I am so glad I read this thread because I was thinking of emailing. Now I realize that postcards are the way to go. It takes less effort to read the back of a postcard than to even open an envelope. Thank you. Judy

    Business Card Exchange

These are great tips and links. It seems that people will usually "size someone up" after just the first sentence or two so we need to make that work. Thank you,

Hint Giving a tip can attract clients.

I have noticed this strategy on other websites and various advertising media. I personally appreciate the "tips" myself. They never "give away the farm" but they do give common sense, quick little solutions to help someone who may not have already heard. Thank you for that insightful post. Judy

They just don't understand the concept

LOL! I had to laugh as I am beginning to experience the same thing! I'm just starting out but I'm getting that "deer in the headlights look" also. Could it be that they don't understand the technology to accommodate all this exists now?

Interview with Dawn Riley of A Virtual Assistant in Paradise

Re: 10/2009 Interview with Dawn Riley of A Virtual Assistant in Paradise Really good interview Dawn. I have noticed that not many people are aware of the VA industry. Of course, I had not heard much about it until recently either. I have a feeling the unfamiliarity with this industry won't...
